Hi everyone -
Adobe has applied a major update to its Adobe Creative Cloud tools and services, including Adobe Illustrator CC. The 2015 release comes with bug fixes, new features and speed improvments. One of the biggest updates is GPU Acceleration for Macs (CC 2014 offered this for windows users).
In most cases, this means a performance boost when zooming or moving designs across the screen.
On some systems however, GPU acceleration this will cause display issues. Most noticeably, thinner lines like 0.01mm strokes will appear jagged or uneven, and some strokes won't line up to the actual paths.
Here's an animated GIF that helps point out what I mean:
If you notice display issues like this, you can disable GPU acceleration on a per-file basis by using the CTRL > E command. Or, you can disable GPU acceleration for all files by opening up Preferences > GPU Performance.
I hope that's helpful. Don't hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any questions, or if you run into any other issues.
