How to export 2D files from CorelDRAW X6

The new CorelDRAW X6 is the best version yet for exporting ready-to-make 2D laser-cutting files - but the method for doing so is actually different to that which we request you use in our CorelDRAW Starter Kit. You will want to ensure all your other formatting matches the requirements set out therein, however.

If you use that method when using CorelDRAW X6, we'll need to contact you and get you to use the following instructions to re-export your file as a RGB color mode EPS file - so it's ideal for you to get it right first time.

The process is as easy as 1-2-3:

1. Use the File > Export command

 2. Set "Save as type:" to EPS - Encapsulated PostScript and click Export.

 3. ENSURE you have "Output colors as:" set to RGB, and click OK.

This should result in a ready-to-upload RGB color mode EPS file which you can price and order through Ponoko.com.
